LPHC currently holds six organizations. Four sororities and two fraternities. All have different missions but align with the goal of wanting to better themselves and their community. Our service and social organizations work to enhance the collegiate experience and provide purposeful growth.
Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc.
The Eta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta at the University of Texas at Austin welcomes all male students who strive to become gentlemen of change while innovating all aspects of society. The goal is to continue to bind societies together and better serve the needs and wants of all people.
Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc.
The Xi Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. was founded on August 5, 1990 at UT Austin. SLG was founded on April 9, 1990 at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. The purpose of Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority shall be primarily one of promoting standards of excellence in morality, ethics, and education.
Sigma Delta Lambda Sorority, Inc.
The Stunning Beta chapter of Sigma Delta Lambda Sorority, Inc. has been on The 40 Acres since 1999. Established at Southwest Texas University (now Texas State), its founders felt the need for an organization that provided a support network geared to helping minority women succeed on campus. Sigma Delta Lambda also seeks to serve the local community with a focus on at-risk youth. Founded on 3 pillars; Education, Loyalty, and Pride, sisters of Sigma Delta Lambda exemplify these pillars in their everyday lives.
Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc.
The mission of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. is to promote the importance of community service involvement and academic achievement as well as to educate and excel the stance of Latinx cultures in this diversely enriched campus. Since 1992, sisters of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. have been agents of change in their respective fields of study and their universities. The outstanding women who form the sisterhood are true examples of what a Señorita should look like in society.
Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc.
KDChi is a service-based sorority that fosters professional development, academics, and higher education degree attainment. It was founded in 1987 at Texas Tech University by strong Latina women and has since grown throughout the country, becoming a diverse, empowering sisterhood. The organization was brought to UT in 1998 and has been "Leading with Integrity, United through Service" since then.
Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Omega Delta Phi is a multicultural service/social fraternity that upholds and promotes the principles of Unity, Honesty, Integrity and Leadership. Established in 1987 at Texas Tech University, it has grown to 78 entities, including the Chi chapter at the University of Texas at Austin.
