About
The Latino Pan-Hellenic Council at The University of Texas at Austin governs the Latinx sororities and fraternities on campus. An organization built to uphold our mission of promoting academic excellence, cultural awareness, inclusion, and acceptance of our diverse student body.

As a council, we aim to unify and serve our Latinx community and culture and give a voice to other underrepresented communities within our campus.
History
The Latino Pan-Hellenic Council was founded in the Spring of 2000 by Sigma Lambda Gamma National, Sorority, Incorporated. A group of students at The University of Texas at Austin came together hoping to unify the underrepresented Greek Community on our campus.

Our organizations work to maximize the success of our members through the combination of leadership, community service, cultural understanding, and academics. As a community and council, we ensure that each sorority and fraternity has a unique and equal representation here at the Forty Acres.
